Over 40,000 patterns of cancer in children are making reported in India each year, specialists stated right here Sunday, putting in such a clearly a fraction of them manage to attain ideal treatment.

'Unlike cancer in adults, childhood cancers suffer a bigger cure rate. But, that is one and only more than likely if the cancer is diagnosed at the ideal evolution and the child is looking at correct mode of treatment,' added Kapoor.
The ubniquitous cancers amid children are acute lymphoblastic leukemia or blood cancer, germ cell tumour, brain tumour and liver and kidney cancer, amidst others.
